If I were a rich man...

Next time you find lost yourself in Frederick Maryland, which, thanks to their whimsical traffic patterns and looney one-way situations is easy, be sure to stop by the 'Emporium" the giant antique mall on Patrick Street.  One booth in particular will make it worth the traffic hassle.

Though the name isn't remarkably evocative the wares are a delight.

I met the proprietor a little over a year ago as he was still moving in.  He was a very knowledgeable, pleasant, and conversational gentleman.

His relatively tiny booth really packs in the soldiers, which are really first-rate.

Don't forget that you can click on these pictures for a larger view, of course once you do you'll only start coveting.

Though he does have some modern stuff most of  his soldiers are classics.

Among them is this classic 4.7 Naval gun from Wm. Britains, I would like having one of these.

Until my discretionary income situation improves however...

I'll just keep browsing.

Soldier on!

New Video

Hi all,

Here's a little video I just put up on Youtube demonstrating how to deal with soldiers that have become bent or misshapen.  I hope you enjoy it.
